Orthographic
The images below were constructed by stitching together multiple photographs taken perpendicular to a linear subject while moving parallel to that subject. Also called "linear" or "pushbroom" panoramas, these orthographic mosaics approximate an image with no horizontal perspective (imagine a camera placed at an infinite distance from the subject, with an infinite zoom capabilty). They are unique portrayals of buildings, beach fronts, and street sides that capture our cumulative experience and perception of these places.
